1. What BudgetGrove Is

BudgetGrove is a personal budgeting and financial tracking application that runs entirely in your web browser. It helps you organize your income, expenses, bills, debts, and savings goals. BudgetGrove is a tool — we are not financial advisors, and nothing in this app should be taken as financial, investment, or tax advice. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.

2. Your Data, Your Device

All of your financial data — transactions, budgets, income, debts, savings goals, and settings — is stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. We do not transmit, collect, or store your financial data on any server.

This means:

• Your data exists only on the device and browser where you use BudgetGrove.
• Clearing your browser data, uninstalling the app, or switching devices will permanently delete your data.
• You are responsible for backing up your data. BudgetGrove provides an export feature — please use it regularly.
• We cannot recover lost data under any circumstances.

3. Accounts & Subscriptions

BudgetGrove offers a free tier with core budgeting features and paid subscription plans (Pro and Pro+) that unlock additional functionality.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time. You'll retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at budgetgrovehq@gmail.com if you have concerns.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use BudgetGrove for its intended purpose — personal financial tracking and budgeting. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the application's functionality. Don't use BudgetGrove for any illegal purpose.

5. Provided “As Is”

BudgetGrove is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BudgetGrove and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the application, including but not limited to financial losses, data loss, or missed payments.

6. Accuracy of Information

BudgetGrove performs calculations based on the data you enter. We do our best to ensure calculations are accurate, but we cannot guarantee they are error-free. Always double-check important financial figures independently. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you input.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of BudgetGrove after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
